Ukrainian folk songs have been an integral part of Ukrainian culture for centuries, combing traditions, history and knowledge of previous generations. Nika Kovalenko and Kateryna Bohdanova, a duet, created from the depth of Ukrainian vocal traditions. The duet’s repertoire includes Ukrainian folk songs and original compositions which merge the warmth from the ancestors and the modern sound. Today, they will perform 2 songs - “Byla mene maty” and “Yakby ya mala kryla orlyni”, which tell the story of love and family relationships.
