Dear friends, today performing for you is Nazar, who turned 14 just the day before yesterday. You might remember his first performance here in Australia, which was his first stage experience. However, his desire to sing has not left him; in fact, it has only grown stronger. Nazar loves Ukrainian folk songs in modern arrangements that give them new life. This is a culture that transcends centuries, with each generation breathing new life into it. No matter where we are, may the Ukrainian heart beat in our chests, and may Ukrainian blood flow in our veins, filling us with faith in Ukraine's victory.

In addition to music, Nazar is also passionate about Ukrainian folk dances and is a member of the "Zahryva" ensemble. Thanks to his Ukrainian coach Taras, fencing has entered his life and has become yet another passion, as every movement in fencing is also an art.

Today, Nazar will perform two songs for you. The first is "I Will Go to the Distant Mountains," which describes the beauty of our Carpathians and perhaps the first love of a dreamy young man. The second is "Emerald Sky," a modern piece that topped the charts in 2025 and is undoubtedly part of contemporary Ukrainian culture!
